A VOUCHER for a picture derived from a photograph
Why not offer your loved ones the chance to have a painting created from a photo of their choice? Give them a voucher for our DottingPoints, Painting by Numbers, or Diamonding [their] own photo! We will then create a memorable present for them and deliver it to them entirely free of charge!
How do the vouchers work?
-
Choose your technique, image size and framing (framed is highly recommended) and order your voucher.
-
Would you like to personalise the voucher? Write the dedication wording in the notes, and we'll include it with the voucher.

You will receive your voucher from us in electronic form, via e-mail immediately after payment.
-
The recipient will then send their voucher code number and a photo of their choice to our email address info@paintingfromphoto.com. We will use this to create a bespoke creative kit for them based on the technique you have chosen. Then he/she can get stuck in creating his or her one-of-a-kind artwork that no one else will have!
Which technique should you use?
Don't worry if you're not sure which approach would be ideal for your loved ones; they'll all gain 100% gorgeous outcomes and create a memorable artwork regardless. It will be based on his or her own photo after all! Each method is entertaining, improves focus and fine motor coordination, and, in addition to all that, promotes stress relief. However, some are suited to certain people more than others. Who do they work best for and how do they differ?
Painting by numbers
While it has similarities to colouring books, it is considerably more enjoyable and has a greater WOW factor. When painting by numbers, acrylic paints labelled with numbers are used to fill in the pre-drawn fields on the canvas. To produce a painterly image, simply match the number on the paint pot with the corresponding number in the field. Ultimately, who wouldn't want to display their own flawless artwork?
Children as young as 3 years old, as well as adults and elderly, can use this technique without any problems. It will appeal to both skilled artists and absolute art novices. The degree of difficulty is determined by the number of fields in the painting which can, if necessary, be modified for the painter...
Diamond painting
Similar to painting by numbers, it operates on the same premise. Vibrantly coloured rhinestones marked with symbols and numbers must be used to fill in the fields with corresponding symbols and numerals on the glue-based canvas. A shimmering mosaic is produced when the entire canvas is completed; and should it have a frame, it may be mounted on the wall right away (if the "inner frame" version has been purchased).
Diamonding is ideal for people of all ages, although it requires a lot of patience. It takes some time to place all of the rhinestones on the canvas because there are so many of them. The size of the canvas is the single factor that affects the painting's complexity; a smaller canvas requires less diamonding. The larger versions are for the true diamond connoisseurs and will undoubtedly create the brightest display on your wall!
Dotting
Dotting is our most basic technique, which even the most artistic anti-talent can grasp. With a coloured felt-tip pen, fill in the blank circles of various sizes. There are no symbols or numbers to focus on, and the activity flies smoothly. The dotting technique is a fantastic way to unwind and is ideal for giving podcast listeners something to occupy their hands with.
The end product is a stunning monochrome piece made up of thousands of tiny specks and dots.
